Whether it's bikini season, a narrow strip of hair around the belly button (the "Treasure Trail") or a full stomach area for men — our waxing removes hair gently with warm liquid wax. Results last 3 to 6 weeks, and because the hair is removed at the root, it grows back finer.

Skin Prep
The stomach area is cleansed and degreased. A light dusting of powder ensures the wax grips the hair — not the skin — keeping irritation to a minimum.

Applying Warm Liquid Wax
We use warm liquid wax exclusively — no roll-ons, no cold strips. The wax is applied in thin, even strokes in the direction of hair growth: precise, clean, and gentle on the skin.

Removing Against the Direction of Growth
In one quick, confident motion, we remove the wax against the direction of hair growth. The hair is pulled out root and all — and that's exactly what gives you those long-lasting smooth results.

Post-Treatment Care
A soothing, nourishing aftercare balm reduces redness and supports your skin's recovery. You'll also get practical tips for the first 24 hours — skip the sauna, sunbed, and intense workouts for now.

The sweet spot is 3 to 5 millimetres — roughly two to three weeks of growth after shaving. If the hair is too short, the wax can't get a good grip. If it's too long, we'll give it a quick trim before your Treatments.
The stomach is one of the less sensitive areas — especially the larger surface above the belly button. The Treasure Trail is a little more sensitive. Your first session tends to feel the most intense, but as the hair grows back finer with each visit, the Treatments get noticeably more comfortable.
Typically 3 to 6 weeks. How quickly hair grows back depends on hormones, skin type, and how regularly you come in. Those who keep to a regular 4–6 week schedule enjoy finer regrowth and noticeably longer-lasting results.
Please hold off for the first 24 hours. Your skin is mildly irritated right after waxing, and open hair follicles are sensitive to heat, sweat, and chlorine. You should also wait 24 hours before wearing tight clothing, using a sunbed, or doing any exfoliating.
Yes — at Sanft & Schön, waxing for both women and men is absolutely standard. For men, the full belly area is usually treated; for women, it's often just the Treasure Trail or the lower abdomen. You'll find the Prices listed separately in the price list above.

If you have a fresh sunburn, open wounds, or a skin infection in the treatment area, if you're on isotretinoin (e.g. Roaccutan within the last 6 months), if you have very sensitive skin, or shortly after a chemical peel. During pregnancy, waxing is generally fine — but your skin can be more reactive than usual, so just reach out and we'll give you personalised advice.
