The arms are one of the less sensitive areas. The built-in skin cooling makes the treatment very manageable for most people.
Shave your arms 12 to 24 hours before your appointment. No waxing or epilating in the two weeks beforehand. Avoid intense sun exposure.
Please skip intense exercise, saunas, and tanning beds for the first 24 hours.
Yes — we don't treat, or only treat after consultation, during pregnancy, with a fresh tan or self-tanner, when taking photosensitive medications (e.g. isotretinoin/Roaccutane within the last 6 months), with active skin infections, or with certain autoimmune conditions such as Hashimoto's. We'll carefully go through your medical history at your initial consultation and tailor the laser settings to your skin type.
